I am a Berlin-based enterprise software consultant and solution architect whose career has grown from hands-on application development into enterprise systems, eCommerce operations, database engineering, analytics, systems integration and architecture. The common thread has always been the same: understand how the business works, then design and deliver technology that makes it work better.
The thread through my career
My approach to enterprise software was built from hands-on delivery outward.
I started by building software directly: writing application code, working with databases, training users and learning how software behaves once real people depend on it. Over time, the responsibility became broader—team leadership, project delivery, eCommerce operations, integrations, data analysis, infrastructure and business-critical systems.
That progression matters to how I work today. I can discuss architecture and business outcomes at a high level, but I also understand the implementation details underneath them: database structure, API behavior, legacy constraints, deployment issues, user workflows and the operational consequences of technical decisions.
Comfortable with systems that have history
Years with Classic ASP, ASP.NET and SQL Server make it easier to modernize long-running platforms without treating everything old as disposable.
Work across application, data and integration boundaries
Frontend, backend, database, APIs, commerce, analytics, payments, shipping and infrastructure often meet inside the same business problem.
Think beyond development into production
Architecture, implementation, deployment, troubleshooting, migration, security and operational continuity all influence whether a system succeeds.

Beyond the system diagram
Curious by profession—and outside it.
Outside technology, I enjoy reading and playing piano. I started learning piano as a child and continued teaching myself over the years. Those interests are different from software, but both reward patience, pattern recognition and continual learning.
